 By Veronika Goncharova   Thu  15-09-2022

Dubai is known for luxurious cars, fashion and and of course real estate. This week, Dubai Land Department (DLD) reported the highest priced apartment sale; A five- bedroom 22,614-square-foot Atlantis The Royal Residence in Palm Jumeirah has sold for AED 163M.

Atlantis The Royal Residence is in the final stage of construction and is scheduled to open this coming November. All units are furnished and serviced, and start at AED 7.2 M. The Tetris shaped tower spans 38 floors and features 231 units ranging from two to five bedrooms. The property has in mind the worldy resident with New York based Pederson Fox Associates being tapped for architecture and Parisian studio Sybille De Margerie called on for interior design. The impressive amenities include a 90 square metre sky pool and 17 world class dining establishmensts including offerings from celebrity chefs Heston Blumenthal, Gordon Ramsey, Nobu Matsuhisa and the iranian-American Iranina Brundy. The lobby is set to have the largest jelly fish tank with 2,000 specimens on display, this is oceanfront luxury at its peak.

This news comes after record breaking month. August became the highest performing month for Dubai Real Estate on record. August sales reached 9,700 units, a 70% increase from August last year. And just recently, it was reported that the highest value property in Dubai was sold. It belongs to Mukesh Ambani’s son. Mukesh Ambani is India’s richest man and heir to petroleum, natural gas and retail giant Reliance Industries. The property sold for AED 293M and features ten bedrooms, several pools and a private spa and is also located on the Palm.

Dubai is becoming more and more welcoming to foreigner investors and wealthy patrons giving out golden visas, creating more transparency, a simpler judicial process. Developers are attuned to luxury tastes and palettes and present a wide offering. So, whether you are looking for a vacation home or an investment, Dubai should be foremost in your consideration
