This will be the tallest observation tower in the world, with a height of over 1,000 meters. The project is on track to cost AED 3.67 billion. Construction was halted during COVID but is said to be completed by 2025. It will surpass the Burj Khalifa and be Dubai\'s newest monument when built.
Marsa Al Arab:
Opening at the end of the year, Marsa Al Arab is the newest addition to the Jumeirah Group. The property includes a luxury hotel, residential apartments, and nine exclusive serviced villas. It is located in Jumeirah alongside other hotels, such as Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Jumeirah Al Qasr. Due to a record-breaking sale of AED 450 million, the highest sale for a penthouse ever recorded in Dubai, it has already made headlines.
Palm Jebel Ali:
The construction for Palm Jebel Ali, the sister to Palm Jumeirah, began in 2002 but was halted in 2009 due to the global financial crisis. The project was revived in May 2023 and is expected to be completed by 2030.
Urb Projects:
A high-tech- new developer, URB is looking to build four projects in Dubai and more across the Middle East. Combining futuristic architecture and marine restoration, zero net carbon emissions, wildlife regeneration, and more. These projects are as ambitious as they are cutting-edge. URB wants to encourage communities to grow their food, use kinetic power, and recycle water for irrigation. Using state-of-the-art technology URB is interested in opening people's minds to sustainability.
Burj Binghatti:
When constructed, the Burj Binghatti will be the world\'s tallest residential building, with over 100 floors. The tower is a collaboration with the jewelry brand Jacob & Co and will feature jewel-like architecture. The building is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in 2026.
Ciel Dubai:
Located in the Dubai Marina, the 83-story, 365-meter-high building will be the tallest hotel-only building in the world. Construction began in August 2019 and is currently 70% completed. When completed, the structure will add 1,000 hotel rooms, premium restaurants and bars, and an observation deck to the Dubai Marina area.
Baccarat Hotel and Residences Dubai:
Baccarat is a fine French crystal brand. The company made decor items for King Louis XVIII and launched a much-loved fragrance in collaboration with Maison Francis Kurkidijan. The brand previously branded a hotel in New York. Their most recent collaboration was with Shamal Holdings. Situated in Downtown Dubai, this ultra-luxury development will house a five-star hotel and serviced residences, 144 suites, and 49 branded residences. The project is scheduled to be open by 2026. Hotels in Florence, Rome, and Riyadh are also underway.
